I admire your devotion to the Subaru, but I can't help looking at the work you do it and the places you go and wonder how and what you would do with a larger 4wd.

Keep up the good work
Cheers Al

Thanks Beau, I'd either carry more fuel, water and food to go further or get bored looking for places that would challenge the vehicle and my driving. Too many places are getting chewed up by monster tyre wielding 4wd's that then run in 2wd until they get stuck, then they engage 4wd - or they wallow around in sections of track that have puddles of water on them, digging them out until they're impassable to just about everyone. That's irresponsible in my book.

I wish the minority that do this would realise their responsibility to the environment and to their fellow off roaders that are out there to enjoy the environment - instead of destroying some great areas that will no doubt end in being locked up and out of bounds (which they then make a track around the lock out gate.

End rant.

Mate I agree with you on that. Get off the track if you want to play in the mud.

Not yours

I can't see it as I'm not on Facebook but I reckon I've got a fair idea of what it is - the video of the white L series...

I'm glad the old subi is getting some attention - but the owner really doesn't seem to know much about them which was disappointing. And his lift is creating the same cracking in the rear end that I had before I plated the mounting points. And he needs better springs to get rid of that rear end sag - but that's my opinion.

Thanks for sharing though!

I'm loving driving my L around - the Brumby is in the shed for some work at the moment. The AWD and the EJ22 is a sweet package in just about all conditions including the wet.

Cheers

Yeah Beau, that’s the one!

Here’s another one for you (and others!) to check out, it may look a little familiar ;)
